What would you do if you woke up in a room,
Didn't know how you got there, didn't know who
Put you in this room, what would you do?
Is it a dream come true?
Ha! You don't have a clue.
I wake up in this room; I'm a little bit scared,
'Cause I can't remember how I got in here.
I say, "
Woe is me, I feel woe,
I feel so sad, I just don't know
How I got in here; I can't
recall,
I can't remember my past at all."
I look around the room and I see
Three doors on the wall, numbered 1, 2, 3.
Each door has a lock, but I don't have the key,
But then I get this idea, this theory.
If I could only find the key, then I would be free,
I'd write a song about it and I'd make a CD.
I see a box behind me, and I can't believe
What the box has in it; it contains a key.
The key is so
ancient, it's so old,
It was gold that had started to grow mold.
What would you do if you woke up in a room,
Didn't know how you got there, didn't know who
Put you in this room, what would you do?
Is it a dream come true?
Ha! You don't have a clue.
The key gave me the power, it
enabled me,
To choose a door: 1, 2, or 3.
But then I heard a loud, booming voice,
"Only one door will set you free,
You have one choice,
So choose carefully! Ha, ha, ha!"
I
observed the doors, looked at them for a minute,
To see if one was nice and one was wicked.
Door 1 was fancy; it was
elegant,
There was a picture painted on it of an elephant.
Door 2 had a picture of a weasel.
Door 3 had a picture of an eagle.
I was getting scared, I had to choose:
Elephant, weasel or eagle; what would you do?
But then I had a thought, oh, this is simple,
Each one of these pictures is a symbol,
Something that represents something else,
All I have to do now is figure it out.
Elephants are tough; weasels are sneaky,
And what does an eagle do? It flies freely.
So I walked up to it,
approached door 3,
Opened up the lock, whoo, and I was free!
What would you do if you woke up in a room,
Didn't know how you got there, didn't know who
Put you in this room, what would you do?
Is it a dream come true?
Ha! You don't have a clue.
