Intro
I can start a club, I can start a club,
Hanging with other people who share what I love.
It could be chess, or horses or other stuff,
If you love doing something, start a club. (x2)
Listen:
A club is a group of people who
Get together to do things, like after school.
Your friends can make one, yes!
And you can come together and connect,
Like, click! And there are different types,
So many clubs; it’s so nice!
I mean, I like to dance,
I shake my feet and shake my hands.
I don’t know if that will be my career,
The job that I’ll have for a bunch of years.
In fact, I doubt that will happen,
I don’t think that will happen, but I still love tapping,
And jumping and moving, and popping and grooving,
And kicking and sliding, and flipping with my friends.
But, wait: I have a thought, an idea,
My brain is thinking; it’s all getting clear.
Ha ha! Why don’t I start up a club?
With my friends after school; we’re cutting a rug.
What? I mean we dance-dance to the groove,
And we teach each other brand-new moves.
I can start a club, I can start a club,
Hanging with other people who share what I love.
It could be chess, or horses or other stuff,
If you love doing something, start a club. (x2)
You like stickers? Well, I do.
I stick them on my clothes and my backpack, too.
In fact, stickers are what I collect,
I find them and keep them together, you bet!
Now I know a girl who’s greedy,
She keeps more than she needs, you hear me?
But not me, because I like to share,
I give my stickers to other kids, everywhere.
"So what did you do?"
I started a club where we could share stickers
And do what we love.
So, go! Like it’s your birthday,
We give stickers to you like it’s your birthday.
Because stickers are a gift we love to give,
Like a birthday present that you want to get.
We’re the Super Sticker Club and we stick to the plan,
We stick stickers on sticks and stickers on hands.
We even have blank stickers, so we design,
We make our own stickers all of the time.
I mean we plan them out and draw them, too,
And if you walk by me, we might stick them on you!
I can start a club, I can start a club,
Hanging with other people who share what I love.
It could be chess, or horses or other stuff,
If you love doing something, start a club. (x2)
Do you belong to any clubs? There are all kinds of clubs you can join at your school or in your town. Want to learn about making food? You could join a cooking club. Want to fight with swords? You could join a fencing club. And if there isn't a club for an activity that you like, you don't have to cry about it: You can start your own club!
